Commercial Credit Analyst
CUBG is recruiting for Commercial Credit Analyst I and II in our Portland, Oregon headquarters.
The Commercial Credit Analyst will support our commercial loan origination and portfolio monitoring areas by completing analysis of complex commercial real estate and other business loans.
Credit Analyst I will support our commercial loan origination and participation network by assisting with financial analysis, accounting, compliance and communication.
Credit Analyst II requires prior experience analyzing complex business financial statements, competence with financial spreading software, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced work environment are essential for this position.
Duties include assembly of commercial loan packages, analysis of historical/projected financial information and credit risk, reviewing commercial real estate appraisals, on-going risk assessment on existing commercial loans, and administrative duties of the department.
The ideal candidates will have proven understanding of the credit underwriting and compliance. Salary will be based on experience and potential. A degree in finance or accounting is preferred, but not required. Preference will be given to those candidates with at least two to three years of experience in a financial institution with an emphasis in commercial credit analysis.
